Maple Bay waterfront is home to this beautiful modern architecturally designed home for the 180 degree view, in which the kitchen and great room play a major role. The kitchen cabinets feature a custom colored lacquer finish on the perimeter cabinets and the 12 foot long island is finished in a stained maple, both colors derived from the magnificient granite. The granite is polished Alaska White which has some remarkable large crystals and great depth of color and character.
Most of the base cabinets have banks of drawers and the microwave has been located stragetically for ease of use by the family's children.
The lower corner cabinet freatures a Kessebohmer steel unit which cleverly extends fully outside the cabinet for all contents at your fingertips. Nothing has been overlooked in this kitchen; it includes an open shelf for cookbooks, a deep cabinet over the fridge for baking tins. it has glass cabinets for featured glass ware and favorite dishes. It has a telephone and computer center located just off the kitchen, as well as a lovely wall niche for soapstone sculptures. The panoramic view of the ocean right at hand is so amazing it makes this kitchen a joy and pleasure to work in.
The lighting was planned by a professional and features evenly placed puck lights behind vallance , ceiling pot lights and modern fixtures over the island eating area and dining room table.
