This lovely log home sits atop Mount Prevost and has acres of lovely green space around it, which inspired the kitchen design and materials used. The remodel consisted of natural fir cabinets and Green Peace polished granite. Combined with the slate floor this kitchen brings the outdoors into the inside living space artfully. Note the antique bar stools were kept to use at the raised granite bar. The storage space was maximized by taking the wall cabinets to the ceiling and everything was fitted to log walls. Some of the wall cabinets are lit to display blown glass work and showcase other special dishes. Lots of deep drawers were designed to store small appliances and dishes, keeping the counters open to enjoy the organic granite design in the rock.
