Maple Leaf Kitchen Remodel
In this 24' x 24' Seattle home, both space and budget were limited, but the homeowner dreamed of a light-filled, chef-inspired kitchen. Our team transformed the existing layout through creative space planning and thoughtful design.
By removing a small bedroom, we expanded the kitchen footprint to include a large island and a more functional flow. Opening the walls around the basement stairway improved sightlines into the dining room, creating an airy connection between spaces while honoring the home’s original character.
Custom cabinetry was designed for maximum storage and everyday ease — including a clever corner drawer instead of a traditional lazy Susan, and a built-in cutting board with a dedicated knife drawer. New windows and a back door bring in abundant natural light, adding warmth and a sense of openness throughout.
The finished kitchen blends efficiency, craftsmanship, and comfort — a bright, welcoming space that perfectly balances modern function with the home’s timeless charm.
