Marriage of Form & Function - Grand Rapids, MI

In this remodel our goal was to create transitional styling, additional storage & a floor plan with better flow.
By stacking upper cabinets with the use of trim & moulding we added just the right balance of embellishment with additional storage. The upper cabinets are made from hard Maple by Homecrest. The door style is Hershing full overlay with Cocoa glaze on French vanilla. The horizontal molding has an ogee profile and is stacked with cove crown.
The base cabinets are a contrasting color . The doors are Buckboard stain on Cherry wood which is a perfect complement to the glaze on the upper cabinets.
The quartz counter tops have a captivatingly visible depth that can't be captured in a photograph. The color is Galloway by Cambria. The tops are the proverbial icing on the cake & have created a buzz among the homeowner's friends and family.
