Inspired by the small things, this homeowner takes complete delight in the details! After weekly meetings we came up with this unique package. The stainless shelves, for example, do not come with lights. We worked up details to have flush mounted lighting cut into the stainless and hidden wiring inside the shelves for a finished, clean look. Shelving & cabinetry were made by Omega cabinetry. Omega also provides special convenience accessories shown in some of the photos. The painted cabinets are in a Pearl on Maple and the island cabinets are Smokey Hills finish on Cherry with an Onyx glaze. This combination is beautifully paired with Cambria quartz countertops, Brittanica on the island and Carrik on the perimeter.
The backsplash is from Virginia Tile, and is a combination of ceramic, glass & stainless and does a nice job harmonizing with the other materials.
One of the favorite features of the kitchen is actually hidden, undercabinet lighting and electrical by Adorn. It includes LED strip and puck lights, outlets, USB ports and cradles for mobile phones and tablets. The best part about the Adorn is that any feature can be swapped out at any time for flexibility and convenience. The switch for the lighting can also be hard wired or powered by its own toggle.
Over all the kitchen is perfect for entertaining friends, cooking with family or just enjoying a cup of Joe and a good book.
