This table didn't match with the customer's new chairs but he wasn't ready yet to buy a new table, so I was asked to transform the existing base to make for a harmonious set.

The colours of the chairs' cerused oak were reproduced on the table base, and a large wood grain imitating oak was painted in pale gray over the base colours.
