Designed in collaboration with Don Hisaka, FAIA, the McLean Residence was a renovation and addition to a historic house in the Langley Forks District in Virginia. The renovation involved the removal of an existing 1995 kitchen/family room addition and the addition of a larger kitchen/family room, office, and bedroom suite. The project also entailed the addition of a barn structure containing a three car garage, an upper level bedroom guest suite, and a lower level apartment.
