Menlo Park Modern Farmhouse

A modern farmhouse for a family of 5. The home takes advantage of California's indoor outdoor flow by opening up to the yard through pocket doors and a bifold wall. The home features many personal touches including vintage furniture from the client's family as well as vintage barnwood from the husband's family farm. Modern lighting keeps the home fresh and current. The project cost listed is for furnishings only.

The house was designed as a modern farmhouse with clapboard siding, board and batten detailing and a metal roof. Gables and she dormers bring light into the interior. Crisp white details such as gates and trim work provide contrast with the brown painted exterior.
