Mid-Century Make Over

This 1960's kitchen/family room was transformed by removing a large central chimney and relocating the hearth to the end wall of the seating area as the focus for a cherry and slate tile media wall. All new floors, ceilings, cabinets, countertops, windows, lighting and integrated HVAC were incorporated into this now light-filled center of family activity.

This deck re-used a portion of an existing deck but re-designed the layout to include cascade of steps for sitting facing the open yard, a separate section for the grille adjacent to the Family Room and Kitchen door, and a separated dining area with railing and views to the landscape.
