This new outdoor living space made use of a neglected hillside in Mill Valley. Pedersen Associates was able to carve out a large living area that ties together existing decks, terraces and outdoor uses. The owners were looking for a space that would be appealing to the entire family, including their 3 very active boys. The final design created a main terrace with fire pit and built in seating, outdoor kitchen, lounge area, kids ping pong terrace, an outdoor shower and a hot tub. The new living area flows directly off of the family's kitchen and has doubled the usable entertaining and relaxing space.
