This project was driven by a need to reimagine how the home functioned for a growing family while elevating the overall design. Our goal was to create intentional, highly functional spaces without compromising comfort, flow, or aesthetic.

To address the need for a dedicated work-from-home environment, we carved out a private office by thoughtfully combining a portion of the primary bedroom closet with an adjacent hall closet. This newly created pocket office provides a quiet, enclosed workspace with a door, offering both privacy and efficiency within the existing footprint of the home.

With the primary bedroom closet reduced in size, the original primary suite was repurposed into a bedroom for the family’s teenage daughter. We updated the adjoining bathroom to reflect a more youthful yet elevated design, incorporating fresh finishes and thoughtful details that feel both functional and refined.

On the opposite side of the home, a previously converted garage space that functioned as a small bedroom and bath was completely reimagined. We expanded this footprint by extending the structure outward, allowing us to create a true primary retreat. The new suite features a spacious bedroom with French doors that open to the backyard, bringing in natural light and creating a strong indoor-outdoor connection.

The primary bathroom was designed as a spa-like retreat, with expansive stone surfaces, clean lines, and a calming, neutral palette. A custom closet completes the suite, providing both beauty and highly functional storage tailored to the clients’ needs.

Throughout the project, our design build approach allowed us to seamlessly integrate architectural changes with interior design, ensuring every space feels cohesive, intentional, and thoughtfully executed. The result is a home that not only functions better for everyday living but also feels elevated, personalized, and complete.
