When we leave our hometown of Cornwall, Ontario, we're also leaving behind the traditional interlock style that goes along with it. Working in Ottawa gives us the opportunity to broaden our stylistic profile and work with a different group of materials. Working closely with the homeowner, we were able to design a functional backyard space that compliments the home and hides unsightly elements like window wells. I can't take credit for the colour selection here but I feel the colours chosen by our clients were exceptional and I can't think of anything that I'd change.

On an added note: This slab system is installed on top of a Gatorbase system which eliminates the need for typical excavation. It's a real time and material saver for a market with inflated aggregate and material removal costs.
