This modern kitchen features stained flat panel, horizontal grain oak cabinets, a farmhouse soapstone sink, striking granite countertops, white beveled backsplash tile, and brushed gold cabinet pulls. It was designed for a culinary school graduate and food professional who had many specialized kitchen electronics and food storage bins for baking. He had outgrown the kitchen and the front hall closet was packed with overflow pans and cookware. Their goal was to get the kitchen items out of the front closet. They also required the usual storage for dishes, cookware and glassware. Prior to designing the kitchen, we photographed the insides of all the cabinets to ensure there was a place for everything. Working closely with the cabinetmaker, we met our goal and the clients’ expectations were exceeded.
