This 1977's kitchen was ready for a re-fresh. Old, suspended cabinets that blocked the view into the open dining and living areas were removed. Corian counters were replaced with a glitzy granite. New island cabinets were designed with much more functional storage and to include a built-in paper towel holder (with dish towel storage in drawer behind). Note that the built-in desk was eliminated, allowing for more efficient cabinetry to compensate of the loss of the old upper cabinets.
