This residence is located in the lovely neighborhood of Esplanade Ridge just North of Downtown Historic New Orleans.

The focus of the new design was to bring in more natural light, improve the layout while taking into consideration flexible spaces for entertaining and to convert the un-finished Second Floor into a new Master Bedroom Suite. We also introduced new outdoor living spaces - such a new deck at both the First and Second Floors. The new Kitchen was relocated to the West in order to engage the new Pool Terrace and outdoor entertaining area.

All exterior materials and details were to be provided with thoughtful consideration to the context of the surrounding homes and to maintain the scale and proportions of the new dormers, windows and doors.

The interior was gutted of all finishes, fixtures and house systems. The new style of the interior was to reflect a more contemporary approach to materials and details.
