North Beach Ft Lauderdale Bathroom Remodel
Description: The original bathroom was in good overall condition apart from the lower section of the shower walls and floor pan, damp, cracking tiles & grout.
Design & Construction: Since the shower had to be completely rebuild, the client decided on a full bathroom renovation and update. We removed all the tile, shower enclosure, the vanity and toilet. Demolition revealed poorly installed tile, no waterproofing, water damage, damp and generally poor construction overall. We rebuilt the shower using Schluter Kerdi wall board and Ditra membrane for the main floor. Shower size was increased by 8" inches to incorporate a corner shower bench. All services remain in the same location.
Special order ‘his and hers’ double vanity with integrated sink and countertop. Gold/crystal wall scones connected to the original lighting and ventilation system. Gold hardware and faucet supplied by client. Bevelled gold framed vanity mirrors by Restoration Hardware. Spanish porcelain floor tile and beautiful dark green ceramic subway tile installed in stack pattern and herringbone pattern. White penny tiles and Duravit ‘classic’ toilet.
