NY Country Kitchen
After a frozen pipe burst and flooded my parent’s Westchester New York kitchen, they were in need of a new space. They loved the country charm of their previous kitchen but wanted an updated, brighter space to enjoy every day. They were able to salvage their tile floors, dark granite countertops, and colorful handblown glass pendant lights. These elements posed a fun design challenge for me- working within the size, layout and color constraints of the pieces. We went with soft white cabinets to brighten up the darker countertops, an accent cherry island to incorporate their love for natural wood and topped off the remodel with a new Capital range. Happy cooking!
