The focus of this townhome renovation was the kitchen. That relatively cramped and claustrophobic space was opened up to bring in the rest of the main level. The modern design specified flat panel cabinets made with vertical grain bamboo in a custom stain and a brilliant red lacquer finish.

Creating more storage was important to the owner, so it was incorporated throughout the kitchen design. The corner Lazy Susan, and full-height cabinets, above, doubled the amount of storage from the previous configuration.
