The objective for my clients was to take the existing dining space and turn it into a bar/nook area with the potential to put up a table for entertainment occasions. The other objective was to open up the wall into the living room, which was too large and underutilized. Once we created an opening from the kitchen into that room, we turned it into a dual space for dining area and everyday seating.
