New Zealand’s Blanket Bay Resort was the inspiration for this stunning property located on a private lake in Ozaukee County.

Our clients’ goal was to replicate not only the home’s unique architecture but its seamless relationship with the striking landscape around it. Key requirements included creating a secluded entrance, incorporating the private lake as a central element in the naturalized landscape, and anchoring the home into the surrounding geography and landscape replete with seas of perennials.

Berms and native grasses create a secluded entrance, while large stone walls and outcroppings echo the stone in the architecture. The lake is tied to the rest of the landscape with lovely naturalized streams and waterfalls that meander through the property.
