The owners are busy professionals and lost the fight against the vines and weeds invading the back yard. The owner also wanted to add an outdoor seating area, where he could put up his hammock and loose himself in a good book.
We removed a lot of vegetation and added a natural hedge along the fence line. Over time this natural setting will grow in and provide privacy without maintenance while also providing habitat for wild life and host plants for butterflies.
The deck and pergola were added to provide the separate "outdoor room" for reading and relaxation. The planting area next to the pool was updated with colorful shrubs and groundcover.
