Complete renovation and addition to a single family home in Palo Alto. The original home was done in a more traditional design with a lot of dark paneled wood and closed off spaces.

The goal with the project was to add an additional bedroom at the top floor and completely renovate the house to make it more bright, open and streamlined. At the exterior the goal was also to update the design and provide more modern detailing.

The city of Palo Alto has strict planning codes in terms of expansion and so it was a challenge to meet the goals of the client but in the end and working with Vaso Peritos Interior Design, we were able to provide a beautiful design.
