This lovely home just needed some decluttering and floor planning. We painted the kitchen walls to match the living room walls for cohesiveness. In addition, we painted the island black. That brought out the granite not the countertop and tied in the tile black splash.

In preparing to sell their home, the owners decided to contact a Home Stager to be sure their home would sell fast and for more money.

We used the existing furniture, removed several pieces of furniture and accessories to open up the space. We added the greenery and some black accessories which coordinate with the existing black picture frames. We added the sofa table and lamps.

In addition, we added a rug to pull together colors and warm up the space. We also added the linen chairs to round out the conversation space.

The kitchen was a pale green. The green did not bring out the best of the kitchen cupboards.

Here we added more greenery to soften the black tile. The homeowners painted the island black to coordinate with the backsplash and granite.

We also removed all curtains in these two spaces to bring in additional light and a beautiful view.

These cabinets were also original to the kitchen. The color is very different from the other cabinets. However, there is a black granite top that plays into the other black in the kitchen. We cleaned the counter off and created a coffee station.

Here we decluttered the dining room and added rugs to soften the room and to create a contrast between the flooring and the wood dining room set. This actually shows how large the room is.
