The key to the success of this kitchen design is the connection between the paired down simplicity of the cabinet style, and the classic materials used. It was imperative that the kitchen feel “believable” in a Tudor home, even though it had to also feel fresh and modern at the same time. We achieved this by using solid walnut for the cabinetry, classic subway tile in an unexpected size, and gorgeous heavy brass pulls to give the room the feeling of quality and classicism. Hints of playfulness were included with the fantastical wallpaper and pink chairs.
