A new contemporary sustainable house. The east and west walls are insulated, ventilated and contain a radiant barrier. The clerestory is for ventilation and daylight. the awnings on the south porch protect the window wall from the summer sun, and retract to allow the winter sun in for heat gain. The sloping roof is ventilated, insulated and has a radiant barrier, and at the right angle for photovoltaics.
