This bathroom renovation was a major undertaking. The space is located in the basement of the home. The concrete floor needed to to jack hammered to allow for the plumbing and to accommodate the height of the steam shower. The bathroom needed to have storage options, therefore a custom maple storage unit was installed along with towers flanking the sink. Details of the bathroom are the wainscoting, tile accent band and the blue paint colour that wraps onto the ceiling. The tile backsplash that goes up to the ceiling also ties back to the tile accent band. Heated floors complete the space. What person would say no to a steam shower in this space to start or end your day.
