The main goal of this kitchen renovation was to open up the space, allowing for better function. The design style is modern rustic. The beautiful brazilian walnut hardwood floors flow throughout, the custom kitchen cabinets are oak in a black stain with a slight distressed finish. The unique hardware on the cabinets add a beautiful detail that stays true to the design concept. The cream quartz countertops help lighten up the space and work in harmony with the floors and cabinets while letting the live edge eating bar be the star. The design is carried through out by adding a beverage center, taking down the wall between kitchen and family room and incorporating a wood beam. The wood beam is a special feature as the client had purchased the reclaimed beam and did all the prep wood himself. Overall, the clients love the outcome and will be enjoying the spaces for years to come.
