Downsizing done right. This longtime client contacted me to discuss the family's decision to move to a smaller home. The key was how to keep all of the beautiful pieces of furniture and art that they loved. With a floor plan in hand, I was able to purpose 99.9% of their existing furniture and art into their smaller home. The only item that didn't make the cut was the great room rug. Luckily a family member was able to lay claim to it. We moved lighting fixtures to different locations also. It was challenging and fun.
