This acreage project included a 4 acre parcel of which we hydro seeded approx 3 acres with a native wild grass mix and the remaining 1 acre, surrounding the home, we did a traditional landscape plan. The design incorporated a retaining wall to separate the septic field and to create some move usable space behind the garage area for future garden plots. We laid a paver sidewalk in front that incased some nice planting areas as well as a paver sidewalk beside the garage where the dog run is. The other side has a nice natural stone pathway and steps that lead from the front of the house to the rear. We kept this area more natural with a selection of large trees and other plantings for privacy and a wind block. The driveway, which is yet to be completed, houses a turn around in which we did a raised planter with large trees and plantings again, for a natural feel. Concrete curbing, landscape lighting and irrigation round out this wonderful project that is not only beautiful, but also very easy to maintain.
