This project involved adding a 3,200 sq. ft. addition to an existing 2,200 sq. ft. rancher, effectively doubling the size of the home. We began by removing the garage and starting fresh from the inside wall of the original house. The garage was then reconfigured, strategically placed in the middle to act as a dividing space between the two dwellings.

This layout was designed with functionality in mind, making it the perfect setup for an in-law suite or multi-generational living. The seamless integration of the addition with the original rancher creates a spacious and comfortable living environment, while maintaining privacy and independence between the two areas.
