It was time to bring this early 90's condo into the modern age.
The plan was to use materials and colours which are timeless and bright, provide more storage and light into the space.
You can never go wrong with glossy white cabinetry, something that never goes out of style. New black lighting package and maple hardwood floors tie it together. Removing the wall connects the kitchen and the living space with the addition of more natural light and a layout that flows into each other. The new fireplace and media area is the focal point of the room, however not over powering and allows our clients eclectic art collection to provide some contrast and depth.
Mitred Dekton waterfall countertops anchor the layout and provide some definition in this bright space.
We installed a sheet of painted glass backsplash creating a modern clean look.
Some challenges we overcame were rerouting electrical from the panel to the other side of the condo in an inconspicuous way, since there's no drop ceilings and an all concrete building.
From popcorn to smooth flattened ceilings, another feature most clients are requesting for certain areas.
