This project was conducted in two phases. The first phase consisted of a second floor addition to a 750 sf Cape in order to double the square footage of the existing house. Part of the existing rooflines on the front and rear of the house were extended to meet at two new ridge locations, giving rise to the geometry of the house. The second phase will include enclosing part of the original driveway, a first floor kitchen and dining remodel, and exterior deck and shed. It aims to complete the re-thinking of the circulation of the house and extend the personality of the house and its owners to the exterior spaces.
