A bland developer house gained a brand-new identity with this rustic reworking of the interior living space. Reconfiguring the kitchen allowed for a flip of the living and dining areas: the former living space was ‘lost’ next to the family room, but now the renovated fireplace animates a generous dining area, while the eating nook gained expansive glass and became a cozy nook with soft seating adjacent to the kitchen.
