Saint Charles Pied-à-terre

The Saint Charles Pied-à-Terre seamlessly blends traditional architecture with contemporary design elements. Original hardwood floors, picture molding, wainscoting, and wood doors adorned with glass and brass hardware preserve the home's historic character. To introduce modern aesthetics, we incorporated a round bone veneer tile coffee table, Saarinen-style tulip dining chairs, and 21st-century lighting. A vintage dining table and a pair of cherished family heirloom armchairs add warmth and personality to the space.

Key rooms are wallpapered in bold green and white graphic patterns, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Situated in an early 20th-century garden apartment building designed by architect Owen James Southwell, this condo offers a stylish retreat in the heart of Atlanta.

Designed as a colorful and playful getaway, the home reflects my clients’ vision—an elegant yet lively space for their frequent stays in Atlanta, GA from Birmingham, AL Their request for a black-and-white color scheme with green accents and abundant patterns shaped the design, resulting in a refined yet dynamic urban escape.
