This whole home renovation in Scottsdale, Arizona spanned two years and evolved over time as the client's tastes changed and various local craftspeople were woven into the team to create things like custom wall finishes, art glass windows, vintage carved arches and doors, locally made tiles and more. The elegant master bath is on the winter 2019/2020 cover of Modern Luxury Interiors for Arizona. Dimensional gold leaf vanity tile and a mica textured wall add a subtle metallic shimmer to the taupe palette within the bathroom. We had the Victoria and Albert tub hand-painted by a local artist. The antique entry doors don't show in the tub photo (they frame the entry into the room) but a detail shot highlights the antique detail of the wood carving.
A welcoming entry foyer boasts custom iron doors, a brick ceiling and wood tiles with metal inlay.
The antique pewter hood in the kitchen was locally fabricated and ties in nicely with the silver leaf patterned backsplash tile from Tabarka Tile.
We love the detail shot of the square shell sink in the powder room, paired with a Brizo faucet and the closeup of black and gold details on the buffet in the living room.
