This family of five in Vienna, VA wanted a more functional space. Bianco Renovations was able to provide them with a creative design and a smooth building process.
Included in the design was an open floor plan for the kitchen, opening up onto the living room. The kitchen features cream, Shaker style cabinets with glass inserts on the tops of the upper cabinets and a gray, painted center island offering seating and additional storage, a white granite counter is used on both the perimeter cabinets and the island. A handmade ceramic tile backsplash features two sizes of subway tile, including a framed mini-subway mosaic behind the cooktop, below the stainless steel hood. Opening the kitchen onto the living room are supporting columns, which continue across the ceiling, giving a traditional detail to the open space.
