Shorewood Project
This front yard started as a blank canvas in the foreground of a recent full remodel of a home in the Shorewood neighborhood in Burien, Wa. Plantings & placement were chosen to reflect the clean and strong horizontal nature of the homes architecture. French Vanilla dimensional stone pavers were used to reflect the color and form of the veneer siding. Plantings of ornamental grasses, dianthus groundcovers, Dwarf Arctic Willow, and lavender with their silver-blue-greeen foliage will contrast the warm tones of this home. A Mt. Fuji Cherry was placed in the front yard and with its horizontal form, will bring the home and the landscape together effortlessly.
