too often do i find walkways on an 'as-the-crow-flies' diagonal. there are no diagonals in this house 'vocabulary'! parallel and perpendicular please!
but in this case a curved brick walkway makes for a more informal look and comfortable approach from driveway to circular hub which connects to straight walk to street.
the curve awaits an ornamental shrub to make the curve make sense!
