This client wanted to completely transform their bathroom into a luxurious Roman spa bath. In order to do that, our designer ripped out their old, outdated bath and replaced it with a walk-in shower, complete with body sprays and a 12-inch square rain shower head. A shower bench was also built in, with a solid teak seat. In order to enhance the spa feel and to give the shower some texture, our designer tiled the floor with pebble stone, which has a massage-like effect for the user. Two niches were built into the shower for extra storage of soaps and shampoos.

A new vanity including six drawers and an additional freestanding cabinet with pull-out towel trays provides neat and accessible storage. Our designer also knocked down half a wall in between the cabinet and the toilet to create the illusion of more space and open up the room. The toilet itself is a Japanese Toto model, with dual flush capability.

Our designer installed heated floors to complement the luxurious spa feel, and built in yet more storage in the form of niches on either side of the vanity.
