Stunning in Scottsdale - Master Bath
2018 NARI Greater Phoenix Contractor of the Year Award Winner
This gorgeous Master Bath makeover is simply Stunning in Scottsdale. This award-winning masterpiece is truly one-of-a-kind. The homeowners asked for a bathroom that would provide them with more storage, higher-end finishes, a free-standing tub, and an accessible shower. Therefore, we were extremely happy when we were able to give them all that, with great style!
Victoria & Albert…
First of all, the focal point of this space is the fabulous Victoria & Albert “York” traditional, free-standing tub. Since this soaker is deep, features “double-ended” bathing, and has an elegant pedestal base, it was exactly what our homeowners were looking for. In addition, these unique tubs are constructed of finely ground volcanic limestone and resin. As such, they are considered a solid material, meaning they will never chip or fade. Also, the “Jacobean” tub faucet from Newport Brass is wall mounted and solid brass with a Venetian Bronze finish. Beautiful in its’ simplicity and truly, Stunning in Scottsdale.
Beautiful granite, tile & cabinetry…
Secondly, flanking the gorgeous tub on either side is fabulous cabinetry. Painted Antique White with a Chocolate Glaze, these cabinets are visually pleasing and contain plenty of storage space. Due to 2 cm slabs of Café Crème granite, movement and color have been added to this wonderful space. Another high-end finish came in the form of Marmol. Select Marble for the large, walk-in shower. In addition, we used 12″ x 12″ pieces for the shower walls and included a deco wall using tumbled travertine, a rope liner, and a flat liner. Then, on the main floor, we used a large format porcelain tile and used the same material in a 2″ x 2″ size for the shower floor. Kohler undermount sinks and a layered lighting plan complete this Master Bathroom remodel, making it Stunning in Scottsdale.
OWNERS REVIEW: "Recently, we had our master bathroom torn down to the studs and totally remodeled by Homework Remodels. We met initially with the owner of the company Steve Shinn and his designer Sheila Lanier. We were so impressed by their presentation, that we did not bother to obtain any additional quotes.
Sheila, in addition to being quite personable, is an extremely talented designer and decorator with a great eye for color and composition. We accompanied her on many trips to select tiles, granite, bathroom fixtures, lighting, etc.
The subcontractors used by Homework Remodels were all excellent in their craft. The job foremen, Aaron and Lee oversaw our project with the utmost care. During part of the renovation, we had to be out of town but we were comfortable entrusting our home to these men during our absence.
During renovations, we also decided to have the company do a partial revision of our main guest bathroom. Although our initial budget was far exceeded, we believe the final product was well worth the cost.
We can highly recommend Homework Remodels to anyone seeking quality renovations of their home."
