Tawa-Desai Residence

With a focus on sustainable design and practices, the project added a new bedroom, master bathroom, kitchen & dining area, and living room tied into the existing split level ranch. The clients' penchant for vibrant colors and natural light helped drive the overall design.

Embracing an almost Mediterranean feel in the new bathroom, matching glass vessel sinks are paired with ocean inspired colors on the wall and countertops, while the curves repeated in the mirrors, cabinet hardware, and shower are reminiscent of gently rolling waves.

Framed against the stunning Boulder Flatirons, the addition's bright exterior colors evoke a vibrance and lightness continued inside the new spaces. Roof mounted solar panels help offset the home's energy use, taking a load off the owners' utility bills, and the environment.
