Weisman Residence

Sarah and Stuart Weisman bought their 1960’s ranch in North Boulder knowing they would renovate it someday. After the birth of their first child, Rose, Eckalizzi began work on the redesign and addition. Popping the top, completely remodeling the interior, and adding a new garage made the Weisman's home modern, open and spacious, despite being a relatively small home. Thanks to the Weisman’s great taste, the home features modern detailing, a beautiful candy apple red refrigerator, master suite, glass walled living room, and a special children’s window seat. Best of all, we were able to design in a hidden closet and kid’s fort that is a hit with Rose’s friends.
In order to capitalize on the stunning views towards the flatirons, the new second story supplies a luxurious balcony off the Master Bedroom, while the expanded living room opens out onto a flagstone patio through a wall of windows.

Aiming to add more character to the side of the house, a large bay window was added to the children's room, with bold metal siding highlighting it as a major architectural feature.
