Designed to bring comfort, warmth, and entertainment together, this project transformed the outdoor area into a refined living space centered around connection and year-round enjoyment.

The homeowners envisioned an outdoor retreat that felt cozy yet functional—creating an environment where family and guests could gather comfortably while maintaining a clean and modern aesthetic. To achieve this balance, we designed the entire space around a custom gas-burning fireplace that serves as both a visual focal point and a welcoming gathering feature.

At the heart of the project is a beautifully crafted outdoor fireplace finished in porcelain tile to complement the sleek black architectural trims throughout the design. To soften the contemporary elements and introduce warmth, we incorporated a custom cedar mantle paired with a Texas limestone hearth, creating a timeless combination of natural texture and modern detailing.

The living space is anchored by a premium TimberTech Pecan composite deck, selected for its durability, low maintenance, and rich natural appearance. Matching drink rails cap the perimeter railing system, adding both practicality and a cohesive finished look.

Attention to detail continued beneath the deck with lattice skirting installed to fully enclose the structure and create a polished, intentional appearance—even without a usable space below.

To elevate the entertainment experience, we designed a custom privacy wall that provides separation while maintaining airflow through an open upper section. Integrated within the structure is a thoughtfully positioned outdoor TV, creating comfortable sightlines for movie nights, family gatherings, and watching the big game without compromising openness or ventilation.

The final result is a sophisticated outdoor lounge that combines modern materials, warm natural finishes, and purposeful design; creating a space that feels equally suited for quiet evenings by the fire or hosting unforgettable gatherings.
