The initial Victorian homes have been intensely wood-framed and marked a favorite departure by the coming of the system of building new homes and industrial buildings. Featured decorative trims called jagged articles and gingerbread were made possible by industrial design procedures. Special instructors, towers, and bays used to specify luxurious homes were made cheap by new construction methods. Steeply trimmed ceilings and solid pristine contours abound, and vivid paint colors highlight the design. Even though the Victorian home plan was developed in America, it had been motivated by French, English, and Italian home layouts too.
