The Lodge

This single family home has been designed with a rustic railroad theme. A true rustic ambiance is created by using reclaimed barn wood for various beams, trim details and custom barn doors. Stone has been used in the kitchen, master suite, dining room and great room. The natural textures of the materials are further accented with wrought iron brackets, suspension cables and railroad ties. The Lodge is complete with it's warm tones and rustic appeal.

Keeping in theme with the rustic lodge, we incorporated exposed trusses to create an airy front porch.

The Lodge

This beautiful stone hallway shows off a barn door made from reclaimed barn wood. This is the wall at the master suite entry. The wrought iron ceiling light compliments the barn door's treated steel hardware.

These reclaimed barn wood beams are pictured newly installed. The spaces in the beams are for recessed lighting.

Kitchen Barn Wood Beams

This family room ceiling is accented with reclaimed barn wood beams that are suspended from the ceiling with wrought iron brackets. This is a ceiling treatment inspired by rail road ties.

This view of the kitchen beams shows the vaulted ceiling and the two-story loft overlook. All wood used for the kitchen beams and the posts at the overlook are reclaimed barn wood.

Kitchen Stone Wall & Beam Detail

Beautifully stained alder cabinets with a mixed tile back-splash. The back-splash behind the Wolf range is a slate and glass mix.

The rustic kitchen has reclaimed barn wood beams, a barn door made from the same reclaimed barn wood, metallic pendant lighting and alder cabinets. The ties on the barn wood beams are custom brackets with hand made wrought iron nails.

This parlor ceiling is vaulted and accented with reclaimed barn wood beams. The Industrial ceiling fan adds to the ambiance of the rustic home.

Through the foyer of The Lodge you find various reclaimed wood details along with industrial straps and structural accents. The ceilings are open to each other, yet low enough and work well with the floor treatments to capture sound.

Reclaimed Barn Wood Beams

The dining room is connected to the kitchen through the stone wall underneath the stairwell. The real stone veneer matches the exterior of the home. The wrought iron chandelier brings in a modern feel with simple lines and glass accents.

Rustic Dining Room

This white country-feel bath still has a modern twist. The light fixture above gives organic glass lines; while the floor to ceiling tile wall on the right introduces the straight line of a modern feel. Everything is blended together in the color scheme of the master bath.

Rustic Master Vanity

This master bath is a perfectly serene rustic getaway. The vaulted ceilings are just tall enough to show off exposed beams. The woodwork is stained to match the beams on the ceiling. The barn wood tile is actually porcelain. A beautiful contrast is achieved with the white freestanding bathtub.

The stepped natural stone adds to the rustic feel of this home. The imperfections in the stone model what one would find in the great outdoors.

Stone Landscape

This backyard is perfect for parties! There's an expansive raised patio that leads down to the stone paver patio, then out to a large backyard with raised garden area. If you're not in the back yard, you'll be out on the wrap around porch!
