the clients felt it was indeed of a new garden room as well as a better guest room and entertaining hub, so we introduced a new openable garden room, that both, brought the our side in, but also added a better connection between the garden room and the kitchen. This was important to the client as they saw the kitchen and garden room as their two main social spaces and wanted them to feel linked. their issue was the difference in floor levels ad to have the garden room and garden connected there was a separation in floor levels from garden room to the rest of the house. We recommend a feature set of stairs that double up as additional seating that bridges the gap between the kitchen and the garden room while keeping the focal point out over the pond and garden.
