The existing brick fireplace was replaced with a custom granite surround and mantel piece. New crown molding, recessed lighting, carpeting, wall finish, remote control shading, drapery and furniture selections unify the room. The custom upholstery, nature-inspired artwork, linen wall finish, rich wood tones and carpeting selection combine to form a comfortable, earthy color palette. A new mantel is designed based on the firebox opening and ceiling height. A granite surround and hearth are inserted. Finishing touches include an iron scroll firescreen, antique Roma mirror, a trio of shell micrometers and a floral arrangement.
