Transitional Kitchen Addition in South Granville
This 1920’s craftsman bungalow is updated for transitional style with a french country kitchen addition.
By displacing 40 square feet from the adjoining sideyard porch, this french country kitchen extension creates new found excitement in family gatherings and outdoor living. The dividing den wall was removed and the side-rear entrance was sealed off from the exterior. Double entry garden doors were added to the mastersuite and den to access a 180 sf terrace extension.
This open concept solution greatly improves the dysfunctional, boxy space without relocating the existing staircase connecting upper and lower levels.
