A small one bedroom apartment in a classic pre-war apartment building was the perfect size for a single man who rarely cooked (who needs to with one of the city's finest restaurants downstairs). The walls were painted white with gleaming Venetian plaster on the ceilings, drawing light in to fill the spaces. Sisal floor covering was installed in the main rooms, with a hardwood floor in the foyer in a dry greige color finish. The tiny kitchen was fitted into a space once occupied by a bathroom and functioned beautifully for our client. The furnishings are a mix of classics and antiques, with our client's art collection filling the walls.
