Combining two apartments and completely gutting both led to the creation of this very "uptown" apartment. The public spaces within are very open and light filled with views of the city skyline. Walking in the front door the spaces flow from foyer to kitchen, dining room, living room and onto the music room. Off the foyer is a jewel box of a powder room with walls and ceiling sheathed in mirror. And the glass enclosed fireplace between living room and music room is a "show stopper". The private spaces of the apartment follow beyond the music room and end in a gorgeous bathroom lined floor to ceiling in Calcutta Gold marble. Furnishings included antique oriental rugs, and clean lined upholstery pieces in muted shades of blue, rust and lavender.
